Christmas in July? Sure — Why Not?
I know lots of folks out there think that you can or should only do Christmas or holiday themed puzzles during that particular season, but I disagree. I oftentimes do these puzzles at other times of the year, and one of my favorite things to puzzle in the drastically humid Florida summers is a Christmas puzzle. Now I know there’s nothing even remotely scientific or factual about this, but in my weird, only in my head, way I feel like doing a wintery or Christmas scene with snow makes me feel cooler. Yes, I know it makes no sense, but for me, it works.
I cannot say for sure that this puzzle was actually assembled in July as it’s been too long ago since I did it (years), but I am posting this one on July 1 anyway. I will count this as my first Christmas in July puzzle for the year. It was a super fun build and I took lots of pictures of the individual books making up this image for some reason.

I remember reading a lot of Babar books when I was a child including some of these. He was so cute! I remember reading the Little Fir Tree as well, and several Eloise and Madeleine books, though I’m not 100% sure these were the specific ones I read, but they could have been. I really don’t recall — that’s been over 45 years ago that I was that young!
I think the fit on this one was pretty good too. It’s a Re-marks collage puzzle which are typically very good quality puzzles. I don’t know what happened to this puzzle. I have not seen it since I did it so I may have given it away to someone at some point along the line or it’s even possible that it’s still sitting in my house somewhere amongst the other 600+ puzzles I own. Hee hee

You won’t believe it, but this is a Christmas puzzle I could get behind! A collage of books? By Re-marks? Yes ma’am! Love this one, especially that image of the Madeline book – it made me think of watching the little Madeline movies with my kids. 💕
