Christmas Cat Stamps

Christmas Cat Stamps

Finishing out my Christmas in July theme with this syrupy sweet image. I absolutely loved this puzzle from Vermont Christmas Company. It was super fun and an easy build too. I have done quite a few of their puzzles and have been thoroughly impressed with all of them so far. I have a bunch more (at least 20) still to do in my puzzle closet, and I look forward to them all. They are one of the fewer manufacturer’s I’m…

Christmas Cookie Village

Christmas Cookie Village

The moment I first laid eyes on this puzzle I knew I had to have it. It combines two of my favorite puzzle themes — Christmas and buildings in a big, beautiful and wonderful way. I absolutely adore the artwork and how amazing each of the cookies look. They’re so detailed. I especially love all the little cars throughout the scene. Each house was very unique and therefore pretty easy to pick out and assemble. I sorted the houses initially…

Over the River

Over the River

Continuing on with my Christmas in July theme, I wanted to share this really fun and easy Dowdle puzzle. This was another one that I completed with my brother Russ during one of his visits. It was a relatively quick and easy build and I enjoyed it very much. I really do love a lot of the Dowdle images and have many of them still waiting patiently in the puzzle closet for their turn on the board. I will get…

Vintage Main Street

Vintage Main Street

In keeping with my Christmas in July theme for this month, here is a second Christmas themed puzzle I did several years ago. I absolutely LOVE Diane Dempsey’s vintage, mid-century modern look to her artwork. They are colorful, nostalgic and great fun to assemble. This was my first puzzle by her, and after I did this one and loved it, I bought several others. They all have a similar color palette, but I don’t mind as the images are just…

Christmas in July? Sure — Why Not?

Christmas in July? Sure — Why Not?

I know lots of folks out there think that you can or should only do Christmas or holiday themed puzzles during that particular season, but I disagree. I oftentimes do these puzzles at other times of the year, and one of my favorite things to puzzle in the drastically humid Florida summers is a Christmas puzzle. Now I know there’s nothing even remotely scientific or factual about this, but in my weird, only in my head, way I feel like…

Snowmen Caroling

Snowmen Caroling

I had a great time with this puzzle. I absolutely loved the colors, and it went together very well. I know this is not Christmas puzzle season, but I am trying to write about all my completed puzzles that have been sitting around on my phone’s image gallery for, in come cases, years. This Cobble Hill puzzle was their typical snug fit and wonky pieces. It always takes me a little bit to wrap my head around their random cut,…

The Purr-fect Gift

The Purr-fect Gift

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! I had so much fun putting this adorable puzzle together on Christmas Day. Just the right fit size wise for a very busy day. Vermont Christmas Company makes the best quality 100 piece puzzles. The pieces are thick and huge for kid hands or senior citizen hands grappling arthritis too. Their images are super cute and fun and I just love them. This particular image really makes me smile. Santa’s face is adorable with…
