PUZZLE REVIEW: Raining in Paris
Manufacturer: Buffalo

Series: Cities in Color
Artist / Photographer: Unknown
Piece Count: 750
Piece Quality: Very good
New / Used: New
Fit: Good – not super loose, but not tight
Assembly: I was immediately drawn to this image as it’s both romantic and travel based – two of my favorite things. This was a puzzle that was hard to walk away from and thereby, one I finished pretty quickly. Each night I worked on it, I was able to place quite a few pieces which is definitely not always the case (i.e., the Star Wars Luke Skywalker puzzle to name just one). This of course makes working the puzzle that much more enjoyable. If you’re like me, you get very frustrated when you spend one night’s puzzling session (1.5 -to 2 hours at the most for me, usually) and only place five or fewer pieces in that time. Grrrr….I hate it when that happens. ☹ I particularly loved assembling these two parts – the VW Bug car and the 2 French Bull Dogs! Okay, technically that’s 3 parts! LOL Aren’t they cute though? Both elements were really fun and the car was especially easy to pull together. I also enjoyed doing the buildings immediately behind the car. I love the planter style windows, and wish I had one or two of those at my own house. Hmmmm…..thinking, thinking.
I have never been to Paris, but think it would be a lot of fun to go someday. I certainly want to see the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre now that I have been exposed to some great fine art masters through my jigsaw puzzling groups on social media.
I am definitely looking forward to more Cities in Color puzzles in my near future. This one was great fun!
