Assembly: I had so much fun building this delicious puzzle. I could smell the sweet frosting and the heavenly aroma of freshly brewed coffee while doing this one, and it made the build all that much “sweeter”. I loved it. For those who don’t know, Lars Stewart is the husband of my absolute favorite puzzle artist, Aimee Steward. I heard she taught him a lot of the techniques she uses and I do see a very similar style to their artwork — especially the use of turquoise / light teal blue in their images which I love as it’s on of my favorite colors.

This one was only 300 pieces, and I would love to have done it in a bigger size, but this is what I had found at the time which was good enough for me. Three hundred pieces are the perfect size when I want to finish a puzzle start to finish in less than a day. Buffalo makes great quality puzzles in the 300 piece count and this one was no exception. Lovely from first piece to last…..now, off to find me some donuts — real ones…that I can eat! Ha ha
