Never before have I seen a puzzle character that came with it’s own backstory, but for some reason (and I love it) this one did. This is what is on the back of the box — written by the artist perhaps? Ceaco? Though I’ve never seen them do that on other puzzles….hmmmm.

GiGi lives with colors and patterns and her companion, FiFi, the mouse. She has a pet named CoCo who is a Scottish Terrier. GiGi is adventerous. She loves cooking, painting, shopping, gardening, and camping. She’d love to be your friend!

Reading this cute little intro story and recently reading a bunch of hilarious and outlandish backstories on some mini puzzles by my puzzle friend Stacey has perhaps inspired me, but when I look at this adorable puzzle here is what I see.

GiGi is a modern, yet retro girl. She beautifully combines the latest and greatest kitchen gadgets and amenities (note the granite countertops and drop in sink) with her 70s chic wallpaper and eclectic plate / cup collection. She hosts her own baking vlog on CatTube TV and will only tell you she has over 10 million subscribers if you ask her — she’s a modest girl. LOL

I could go on and on about GiGi as this image just inspires the writer in me, but I won’t. Just suffice to say I absolutely adored this puzzle and will be looking for other GiGi the Cat puzzles in the future. Here were my favorite parts of her collection. I don’t know why I didn’t take a closeup of the bar stools. I adored the pretty fabric on each of them so much.

The level of detail in the teddy bear mug and the peacock plate make them exquisite. Love the cow coffee mugs too. They make me smile.

Even Cole had to get in on the celebration of this super fun puzzle being finished. He is as sweet as GiGi’s cake!
