Assembly: I love an Aimee Stewart puzzle almost more than any other. Her images are always so brightly colored, highly detailed, and just flat out FUN to assemble. They make me amazingly happy when assembling. This one was no exception. My friend Stacey over at My Jigsaw Journal gave me this one because of our shared passion for all things Aimee Stewart.

It was a very entertaining build, and I think this one would be great in a 1,000 piece format as well. It was over pretty quickly since it was only 300 pieces and very easy to distinguish various parts of the puzzle. I never thought I would say this, but truly my only complaint about the puzzle is how tight the fit was on this! I know, right? Why would I complain about a puzzle you can literally pick up pinched between two fingers and hold without fear of it falling apart? I think it was because every piece had to be disassembled very carefully as I was so afraid I was going to separate the paper from the chipboard. They were almost impossible to separate at times. It was the tightest fitting, snappiest sounding puzzle I think I’ve ever done. And I can honestly say I have finally found a puzzle that was too tight for my liking. Wow — I cannot believe I just said that out loud!

I would still recommend this puzzle to any Aimee Stewart fan as it is a highly enjoyable assembly and, for me at least, it brought back some really great memories of rollerskating as a child. Before the invention of inline skates ruined it, of course! LOL

Overall Rating: B (only because of the super tight fit)
