Winterland Fun — Aimee Stewart — 2000 pieces

One of my most favorite puzzle “themes” is Christmas or wintery scenes. I most especially love doing them in the middle of the hot FL summer. I know it’s all in my head, but somehow it always makes me feel just a tiny bit cooler to do a winter puzzle when it’s 95 degrees out with a humidity factor making it feel over 100!

I also love Aimee Stewart puzzles. She is one of my favorite puzzle artists so of course as soon as I saw this one I knew I had to have it. At 2000 pieces, it was a little bit challenging, but the extremely high level of detail made it pretty easy to work.

My most favorite parts to assemble were the food, the blankets, the dogs, and the igloo. Aren’t they all adorable!

Unfortunately, the quality of this one was less than stellar which surprised me as I have always had good luck with Buffalo puzzles. There were many pieces with bend or partially separating knob pieces which was extremely annoying. Due to this, there were times when the piece did not lay completely flat after being placed. Something that drives me up a wall.

In the end, the build was extremely fun, but not one I would consider framing and putting on the wall. So, I boxed it up and shipped it to my bestie out in Oregon who also loves to do puzzles, and also loves Aimee Stewart artwork.

    1. Thanks, me too! All my experiences with Buffalo up to that point had been fantastic. Perhaps this one was just a one-off. The Star Wars puzzle has certainly been great quality.
