Still Sick, but More Sick of NOT PUZZLING….
So I decided to get up at 6:30 this morning and knock out a few pieces before Derek woke up. It felt really great to be working with the pieces again. I have really missed my puzzling time the last few weeks with the travel and all the sicknesses I have had. I’m still not feeling well…I think I somehow caught a second cold on top of the first one starting to leave…UGH. But, I decided to go ahead and make productive use of the time anyway.
I didn’t get a whole lot accomplished, but I did at least get a decent start on the horse and the dolphin. I also got most of the lizard guy running into the water in place too. I think I will see if I can convince Derek to play in the basement for a bit today so that I can work on it a little more. It’s soo addictive…. :o)
Here’s a couple of pictures of this morning’s progress. Will post more later in the day if I get another chance to work on it.

How old is Derek? You should get him puzzling! I think he will be capable of actually helping you soon. Do you know if you are having a boy or a girl. You are NOT going to be getting any puzzling once the little one shows up so you better get him working on life!
Derek is just over 3. Yes, he actually loves puzzles and has put together small toddler ones and kiddy wooden ones before. I can't wait for him to be old enough to help, but right now I'm afraid all he would do is end up throwing pieces around on the floor once he got bored. I've seen him do it with his, but I'm hoping in another year or two he can start to help….that will be a lot of fun!
Oh, and we are having another little boy…his name will be Cole Hudson.
This puzzling is forcing to play bringing so much excitement in playing pictures jigsaw puzzles, i will yet again start playing ………..
