The moment I first laid eyes on this puzzle I knew I had to have it. It combines two of my favorite puzzle themes — Christmas and buildings in a big, beautiful and wonderful way. I absolutely adore the artwork and how amazing each of the cookies look. They’re so detailed. I especially love all the little cars throughout the scene. Each house was very unique and therefore pretty easy to pick out and assemble. I sorted the houses initially…
I completed this puzzle several years ago, but since I was not good about posting on the blog during this time, I never wrote up anything about it. This was my very first Magnolia brand puzzle and to say I immediately fell in love with the brand would be a huge understatement. Ironically, I am not big on Alice in Wonderland as a story / movie. It’s very fantasy based and unrealistic, and I struggle to enjoy movies like that…
I barely remember doing this puzzle and don’t appear to have very many pictures of it, including a completion photo, but I will share what I have anyway. I do seem to recall this was a very easy build and the quality was just OK. There’s an entire series of “Flashback” puzzles by Master Pieces and I think I have at least one more in the to do closet. I think I have eaten, at least once, almost every item…
This is definitely not a typical image for me, but I saw it online somewhere and my husband’s cousin loves gambling so I immediately thought of giving him this puzzle framed as a gift. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take a pic of it framed, but I do have a Stacey Stance pic, and really that’s all that matters anyway, right? Right! The puzzle was one of those no name brands from China with the letters on the back. I…
If you know me at all or have been reading this blog for any length of time, you will know how fond I am of dogs. I do tons of dog themed puzzles as I have to get my dog fix in any way I can since I cannot have any real fur babies due to hubby’s allergies. This was another image I fell in love with the moment I saw it and for good reason — it is ADORABLE!…
My second Paper House Productions puzzle was just as much if not more fun than the Painting Paris puzzle I talked about a few days ago. Scooby Doo was and still is my all-time favorite cartoon. I watched it religiously as a kid, and even in adulthood, it can still make me chuckle on occasion. I remember watching one episode maybe 10 years ago where Shaggy and Scooby were running from the monster and Shaggy handed Scooby a brown paper…
In keeping with my Christmas in July theme for this month, here is a second Christmas themed puzzle I did several years ago. I absolutely LOVE Diane Dempsey’s vintage, mid-century modern look to her artwork. They are colorful, nostalgic and great fun to assemble. This was my first puzzle by her, and after I did this one and loved it, I bought several others. They all have a similar color palette, but I don’t mind as the images are just…
I fell in love with this puzzle the moment I first saw it online. Paper House Productions was a new puzzle brand for me at the time and the quality was lovely. I did this one years ago but I do recall it being a pretty easy build and the colors are extremely bright and vibrant. It was a pleasure to put together and made for a very enjoyable build. I worked this image pretty quickly and then immediately glued…
This was a super fun puzzle to put together and I really enjoyed the build very much. The image title is appropriate as it is a really sweet image! Makes me hungry just looking at it Jacarou Puzzles are a favorite of mine and I always enjoy doing their puzzle images. The fit and image resolution quality are great. I love the deep color saturation. It makes them extremely colorful and fun. It has been a long time since I…
I love most Pixar movies and a good chunk of the Disney movies out there as well. Of course there was a long period before Iger came on as the CEO of Disney where they put out a bunch of crappy movies. But once Iger took over and formed the partnership with Pixar things took a big turn for the better. 😊 When I saw this adorable puzzle I thought — this one would be a lot of fun to…
