No, the letter “C” on my keyboard did not suddenly stop working nor did I forget how to spell. This is literally the name of a 500-piece puzzle I did some years ago by Anatolian. I recall liking it okay at the time. If I remember correctly the fit was decent too. For some reason looking at it now, I don’t think I was ever truly in love with the puzzle and I think it’s mostly because of the limited color palette. It is a lot of red, yellow and white.

I’m wracking my old lady brain as to why I took a close up of the dog chef, and I am coming up with nothing. One thing I didn’t quite get was that there were three dogs in the puzzle and a bunch of cute mice, but yet it was all about the “kats” in the title. Hmm…kinda weird. The image quality on this was great – very sharp and detailed which was nice. I don’t remember how tight or loose the fit was on it, but it doesn’t really matter at this point anyway.

It was a fun build and a pretty cute image. I think I would have liked it better if there had been a few other colors in the overall image. I don’t know – but for some reason my brain is trying to figure out what drew me to this image other than the dog and cat aspect. Generally that in and of itself is enough. All I can say is that it must have been what I was thinking at the time I purchased.

I believe this was also my first Anatolian puzzle so I might have also been wanting to start with something small in case I didn’t like the brand. It was good though and I have lots more in my to do closet with images I like a whole lot better.
