One of my favorite Saturday morning cartoons was The Flinstones. I loved watching them, Scooby Doo, The Jetsons, Tom and Jerry, Richie Rich, and a few others. I would get up early on Saturday, by 7 a.m. usually, grab some cereal, and park myself on the couch for several hours of back to back cartoons starting with Superfriends. It was probably my favorite day of the week back then.

This Ravensburger puzzle was a ton of fun to assemble and not quite as easy as I initially thought. Due to the nature of having Fred in many of the mini collage images, it wasn’t always easy to tell which part of the puzzle a piece with his black hair belonged. But I got there eventually and glad I did.

As always with a Ravensburger puzzle the quality and matte finish of the image were delightful and while the pieces weren’t tight enough for a Stacey stance pic, I certainly enjoyed the build very much. This is another puzzle where I really did not do a good job or even a decent job of taking pictures — either in progress, close ups, or even a good final completion shot. I don’t know what I was thinking on several puzzles I’ve been pulling from my Flickr account camera roll to post about. I definitely need to be a lot better about documenting progress and finish shots moving forward.

My favorite Flinstones character was always Pebbles. I loved her red hair, sweet little face, and just thought she was the bomb as a child. I also adored Dino and thought he was adorable.

This is one of my favorite parts of the image — Wilma doing laundry. I always loved how they had such funny and creative ways of making pre-historic appliances and other things look real and functional.
