The Zodiac Signs as Bread
OK I have to admit — this is a bizarre puzzle that makes no sense to me! The breads represented here from an artwork standpoint are drawn well and are interesting, but what the heck do bread and the Zodiac signs have to do with one another? It’s not like the shape of the bread represents the animal / symbol for that particular sign. I don’t know. I really didn’t get it to be perfectly honest. What do you think? How does Pisces and cornbread correlate? I dunno know….LOL Apparently I am a Baguette, but based on the image and my love for the CA favorite, I would so rather be a Sourdough! What bread sign are you? 🤔🥖

That being said, it was still fun to assemble strictly from a puzzle perspective. It is a Ceaco puzzle which we all know is not the best quality in the world. This one is part of a “Space Saver” series I guess they started which makes the piece size on a 300-pc. puzzle the same size as a standard piece typically found in a 1000 pc puzzle. This I really liked as I don’t love the huge chunky pieces on a Ceaco especially when the fit is usually not great. So having these in a much smaller size was actually really nice. And, surprisingly, it was more of a matte finish than I’ve ever seen on a Ceaco puzzle before.
The fit was still pretty loose and would not stand up to a Stacey Stance pic, but it did not detract from the fun of the overall build.
I got this one from Ollie’s Discount Store and only paid $4.99 for it which I thought was a worthwhile investment for the hour or so of fun it took to assemble it. Randy did about half of this one too so that made it even quicker. And it of course led us to ponder what was the artist thinking when she decided to create this rather odd puzzle? Guess we’ll never know for sure.
