How adorable is this puzzle? What’s not to love when a puzzle combines two of your favorite hobbies — puzzles and books! I know I love doing puzzles of bookstores, or bookshelves, or really anything that incorporates these two favs. This puzzle is part of Buffalo Game’s Americana series. I’ve done two of them now and thoroughly enjoyed both. The colors are bright and vibrant, and I always find Buffalo puzzles to be high quality especially on the sharpness of the image. I probably have more Buffalo puzzles than almost any other brand in my to do closet. I just adore them. My one and only complaint about them is that the puzzles tend to be a little more on the glossy side, but their images are so wonderful — especially with their huge selections of Aimee Stewart and Charles Wysocki puzzles that I can ignore the glare issues pretty easily.
I guess I didn’t take many pictures of this puzzle for some reason. Several years ago I completed this puzzle; I can’t recall where it ended up. My guess is likely Goodwill or I may have sent it to Gina out in Oregon. All I know is that it’s no longer in my house so I am confined to the two pics I did take. I also remember loving the little signs labeling each shelf by the type of books it contained. This was super fun.
Eduard is the artist on this one, and it reminds me in a lot of ways of an Aimee Stewart style image which automatically makes it even better in my opinion. I have done several of Eduard’s images and have enjoyed them. He is very talented. I’m sure I will find more of his as I work my way through my to do closet.
Apologies for the glare at the bottom of the puzzle. I must not have reviewed the pic before taking it apart. Can you see the adorable little pug at the bottom too? So now I can officially say this puzzle hits three favs — it’s a puzzle about books that includes a dog! Gotta love that!
