My mother-in-law gave me this puzzle on one of their recent visits from Port St. Lucie, FL. She indicated it was left in their community clubhouse during the pandemic and she had brought it home to attempt, but quickly gave up as she felt it was too difficult. Most likely she got scared off by all the brown in the puzzle — there is quite a bit. So of course I was happy to take up the challenge.
I have to say this was a super fun, quick and easy puzzle. Buffalo makes great puzzles and this one was no exception. At 500 pieces it was a little bit more challenging than the 300 piece series, but still do-able in a short amount of time. The image quality on this one was outstanding and I loved all the little details in the food on each shelf. Really the only challenge with the puzle in my opinion was all the different wood crates / barrels and the roof. Lots of brown, but the textures were different enough that it wasn’t too bad.
As you can see below, the image was tight enough to stand up for a picture. I always love when I can do this with a puzzle and almost always the 300- and 500-piece Buffalo’s never disappoint.
A great puzzle build experience. Thank you Mom and Dad for sending this one over. It was a lot of fun!
