The sharpness of the puzzle image; the smooth linen finish of the pieces; and the satisfying way the pieces fit together — all signs of a classic Ravensburger puzzle. This gorgeous image was a thrill from beginning to end and I plan to frame and hang it up in my downstairs guest bedroom.

For this one I started with the border as it was pretty quick and easy to figure out. From there I assembled most of the lower section first and then worked my way up the puzzle to the sky which turned out to not be difficult at all.

I imagine these two ladies deep in a fun, entertaining conversation. I love their “old fashioned” clothes and would love to know what they’re chatting about — the men in their lives perhaps? I love the waiter attending to his customer in between the buildings. I can just imagine the great smells coming from the plates he’s delivering. A perfect capper to this evening would be hitting the bakery. Everything looks so yummy!

An extremely satisfying and fun build all the way around. Can’t wait to do more more Ravensburger’s!
