Assembly: Steve Crisp images are always so much fun and this one was no exception. My favorite puzzle of the entire six-puzzle set by White Mountain Puzzles. This one went together pretty easily and I had a great time with it. I especially loved doing the curtains, the grandmother, the door and the dogs! The piece fit was excellent and tight.

I was also pleasantly surprised at how detailed and clear the image in the distance of the girl and her dog outside the grandmother’s house turned out to be. Just look at the kitchen towel on the stove — a very small part of the overall image, but the detail in it is pretty impressive I think.

Of course these sweet dogs were high on my list of favorites in this puzzle. Who could resist an adorable face like this on the left? Not me that’s for sure.

I know my friend Stacey will appreciate this picture — one of her favorite things (and mine too apparently) is taking a picture of the puzzle standing up when the fit is tight enough to allow for it without destroying. Pretty cool, huh?

The down home feel of this puzzle reminds me of my childhood growing up on a 40-acre ranch. My mother and I loved baking and canning jam and we always had at least two dogs around begging for handouts. LOL
