Weird Places to Find a Puzzle Piece – # 2
After not having puzzled for more than two weeks due to baby Cole’s early arrival, imagine my surprise when my mother in law is in the kitchen day before yesterday and says, “Here’s a puzzle piece.” She pats it dry (apparently the back was a little wet) and said she had found it laying on the kitchen counter. At first I thought, oh this must be a piece from one of Derek’s puzzles, but then when I saw it I realized with surprise and a little bit of worry that it was in fact a piece of my Life puzzle. No, it wasn’t the lost piece from section 1, unfortunately. I have NO idea how that piece got all the way from the basement up to the kitchen or by whom. It’s a bit of a mystery, but it makes me a little scared because I know I haven’t touched it in so long that I have to wonder if it’s the only piece that has somehow “traveled” outside of the puzzle room…..Hmmm!

Most likely it was stuck to your forearm and hitchhiked! I have done this before!
Yeah, I guess that's possible, but I hadn't been in the puzzle room for about 2 weeks….it surely didn't stay on my arm for that long. LOL

Thanks, Jasmine. I am looking forward to getting back to puzzling soon. My youngest son is starting to lengthen out his amount of time sleeping at night by a little bit so hopefully I won't be lacking sleep for too much longer and can get back to puzzling more. Thanks for reading!
Jasmine, are you currently doing the Life puzzle too?
