Over the next few days, I am going to share some of my favorite You Tube puzzle content creators. This is a pretty recent discovery for me within the last year. I have never been a big You Tube watcher until about nine months ago when I discovered The Casual Puzzler You Tube channel.

Prior to discovering Emilie @ The Casual Puzzler, I had only seen a couple of Karen Puzzles videos, but for some reason I just didn’t feel a connection to her and lost interest in her content rather quickly.

I felt a much better connection to Emilie and after watching a few of her more recent videos at that time, I went back to the beginning and watched every video in chronological order from the beginning. It took months to get through all of them, but once I did, I really felt like I knew her personally. It was great. I really enjoyed getting to know her and her personality through the videos, and how she evolved over time with her content creation, initial nervousness, etc.

Emilie has continued to expand her channel over the years and has made an entire career out of puzzling which is just amazing. She now works for Puzzle Warehouse as their Social Media Manager (I believe that is her title anyway).

She also, in the last week, hit 10,000 subscribers! I think aside from Karen @ Karen Puzzles, she might have the second highest number of subscribers in the puzzle content space on You Tube.

I really wanted to do You Tube content creation for a while. When I first purchased the 42,000 piece Around the World puzzle and did a video with Derek helping me mix the bags I thought I would regularly post videos. That didn’t happen and then I put down the puzzle for a very long time (still haven’t gone back to it), and so I lost any subscribers I had which I think at my highest peak was around 100, but not too bad for someone who only created a couple of videos I guess. I just don’t have time right now to do that, work full time, take care of 2 teenage boys, a husband, and a house. I know some of the You Tube puzzlers out there can juggle all of that without issue, but I apparently am not one of them. LOL

Maybe it will be part of my retirement plan! Hmmmm…..
