This puzzle was harder than I expected especially given it was only 500 pieces. It is very colorful and I did like doing it overall, but the part that was the trickiest of all were the swirly trees and I was not a huge fan of those. This is one of several in the overall image and I struggled a bit at first with getting these little buggars figured out.

As you may recall from my post about having a go to puzzle type, I gravitate heavily toward buildings and architecture so this puzzle was a natural fit into that category. Plus, it’s also a winter scene — which checks two of my favorite image type boxes!

The fit on this puzzle was fantastic and as you’ll see below it passed the Stacey Stance test with flying colors.

The artwork, by Peggy Collins, was lovely, and I will try to find more of her puzzle in the future. It’s just a cute scene overall, and the title of the puzzle and series are very appropriate as it does have a whimsical feel. For some reason in my mind, I picture small fairy-like characters living here in the buildings and have a grand ‘ole time in their little town. 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♂️

If you hadn’t already guessed by being a frequent reader of my blog, I really love the color blue and all its many shades. I think that’s at least part of the reason why these two buildings were my favorites. I also love the darker blues mixed with the red and orange tones on the building to the right.
