This puzzle was a lot more fun than I originally thought. I was thinking for sure the rain / glare of the street at the bottom of the image was going to be really troublesome, but in fact it was very easy and I really enjoyed putting this particular area together.
The image reminds me of a forgotten era in American history — one where people still liked each other for who they were and for their mutual love for our country. A time where you didn’t ask or base your opinion of a person solely on their political viewpoint. Neighbors truly cared about each other and they and their family’s wellbeing.
I absolutely love the pink car (a Cadillac maybe?) and the diner in the background. The sky was also a lot of fun to piece together. All in all, this was a super fun build and went together quickly. I have since sent this puzzle on to Stacey who I’m sure will be featuring it on her blog soon. I neglected to write down the name of the artist on this one so I will have to wait and find out from her who it is and then I will update it here.
7/28 UPDATE: As usual, Stacey came to my rescue shortly after this was posted this morning to tell me the name of the artist and that’s when I did a 🤦♀️because Dominic Davison is one of my all-time favorite puzzle artists! I adore almost all of his images and have a boatload of them in my done / to do stacks. I can’t believe I forgot he also did this one. No wonder I loved it!
