Well hello there! I don’t know if anyone will see this post other than Stacey maybe as I have been such a crappy blogger for the last five years at least, but I’m here now and am going to try to be a little more present in the blogging world.
You may be wondering why I have been gone so long and I could come up with a laundry list of excuses, and ironically doing laundry every weekend is on the laundry list of excuses, believe it or not! Being a busy family of four with two members being teenage boys who think they need to change their clothes every five minutes doesn’t help matters much.
There are my standard “go to” excuses which even though legit, somehow seem insignificant now. Bottom line is — I just have not prioritized the blog in years. I was pretty good with creating new content the entire time I was working on Life: The Great Challenge, but I slacked off pretty hard after that.
I guess the good news is that I have a boatload of puzzles I have done since I last posted so I have plenty of fodder for content creation. I just need to add the pics and write about the various puzzles I have been working on for the last couple of years.
Easy peasy, right? Right!!!
Okay, here we go…
This is one of the “oldest” puzzles that has been waiting for some words of love to be written about it.
I grew up reading through many of my brother’s Garfield comic books, and I fell in love with the character. Such a fat, sassy and sarcastic, lasagne loving kitty — what’s not to love?
This puzzle was pretty easy up until all that was left was orange and black fur. Then it became a bit more of a challenge, but still very fun.
I love that this one stands up to the vertical pic…thank you to Stacey for turning me on to this fun way to capture a unique puzzle image when the fit allows.
Not sure why, but for some reason I am now craving a big slice of lasagna and a good nap!
