My puzzling friend and fellow blogger, Stacey, got me motivated by her adorable and funny mini shaped puzzle posts. Naming each of the puzzle subjects and giving them a completely outlandish and elaborate background story made it all that much more fun. I adored each and every post she did.
Therefore, when I saw a couple of new mini shaped puzzles I hadn’t seen before Stacey was the one who first popped into my head. Instead of thinking, these will make great posts for my own blog, I ended up thinking — oh I cannot wait for Stacey to build and bring these adorable little mini puzzles to life. LOL
Therefore, I will not make up equally nutty background stories for each of these — I will leave that to Stacey to do as she is much better at it than I. In the meantime though, I will show you each of them over the next few posts. They were so much fun to assemble! I now know why she loves these puzzles so much — they are super quick and super fun to do.
First up is two adorable looking dogs — they have such sweet faces don’t they? I think so, and if you don’t — well then I have to question if you’re some kind of dog Grinch or something. Ha ha
I love the colors in this one too and the beautiful butterfly at the bottom. I really love assembling puzzles with big, colorful butterflies. In fact, I need to pull out one of my newly acquired Jacarou Puzzles that is nothing but a collage of colorful butterflies. Love them!
I love the lamb’s face in this puzzle. He looks so sweet and innocent, and the yellow duck in the foreground looks like he is laughing his head off (perhaps the camera man told him a good one), while the bunny seems to be saying, “Yeah that was a real knee slapper, cameraman!”
Last, but certainly not least in this first set of mini puzzles and my absolute favorite of the three (perhaps of the whole set — we’ll have to see). Aren’t these guys ADORABLE?! I love giraffes to begin so it was not a hard sell to love this one, but every piece of this puzzle was a joy to assemble. I truly love the expression on each animal face More butterflies and a pretty cute little frog too to complete the look. They all look sweet and innocent enough to reach out, hug and kiss — though I am pretty sure the polar bear would prefer I be a snack instead.
Hope you enjoyed looking at these little mini puzzles as much as I enjoyed building them. Can’t wait to do the next three. Happy puzzling all!
