Candylicious — Aimee Stewart — Buffalo – 300 pieces

There aren’t many things I love more than an Aimee Stewart puzzle. Who can resist her brilliant use of bright, happy colors and seriously fun images? I know I can’t!

As usual this one did not disappoint either. The fit was tight, and even allowed me to take a picture of the puzzle the way my good friend Stacey does. This one is for you!

The quality of this 300 piece Buffalo puzzle was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the build. It was a bit more challenging than I expected for only 300 pieces, but I’m sure it was due to the similar colors throughout. I wonder what the 1000 piece version, which I also have, will be like? Quite a bit more difficult I’m thinking…and I can’t wait to find out!

After putting together the border, I started with the most obvious standout choice (not to mention the tastiest) — the beautiful box of chocolates! I was drooling and craving chocolate while assembling these pieces that’s for sure. I think my favorite is the one on the left with the rose colored circles. I would also love to plant my face in the white chocolate one at the bottom. Oh who am I trying to fool — I would be happy to plant my face in ANY of them! Ha Ha

I loved every part of this image and had a blast putting it together this morning while drinking my coffee and have a moment or two of “me” time before the kiddos woke up. Amazing how they seem to always know when I’m trying to have a few moments of piece and quiet. Those are the days they get up EXCEPTIONALLY early!

How cute are all the animals in this bowl of candy! I found a cat, cow, rabbit, panda, and an elephant. There may even be more. I really loved the look of the rainbow slushy and how each color melded into the next. I don’t know why, as I would likely never eat them, but I also very much enjoyed assembling these pinwheel looking pieces too. Most especially the purple one. It’s one of my favorite colors.

There was one rather unique and odd (in my opinion) element to the puzzle — a couple of two-toned gummy bears. The one on the left creeps me out just a bit and boy does he look pissed too. I have never seen a two-toned gummy bear. Have you?

Before long two things happened — 1) the build was over, and I had a seriously cute puzzle completed and ready for posting; and 2) I had an intense craving for something — candylicious!
