I find it funny how much I enjoyed this puzzle given how few Charles Dickens books I have actually read – maybe 2 at the most; LOL
Anyone who knows me though will know the sole reason for my picking out this puzzle to begin with has everything to do with it representing one of my favorite puzzle themes — buildings!
And boy does this puzzle have plenty of those! Each building is pretty distinct which made it a lot easier to assemble than it might have otherwise been. The image was fantastic and I loved every minute of the build.
I started with the blue water throughout the image and then focused on the larger, easily distinguishable buildings. I found all the book characters to be the most challenging as some were pretty tiny and not as easy to find in the image. The image resolution was sharp and fabulous which certainly helped when it came to figuring where each of the characters were “hiding”.
I wasn’t sure what to expect initially as this was my first Laurence King puzzle and I had heard some mixed reviews. However, I thought this one was lovely. The matte finish gave it a beautiful, non-glare finish and the quality of the pieces was also great
Overall, I was quite pleased with the build and think it turned out gorgeous. I will definitely be looking to do more of these fun book-based puzzles soon.
