My Personal Puzzle Fairy

I almost never receive puzzles as a gift for Christmas. I think it’s because my husband already thinks I have way too many as it is — as if that were even possible?!?! I have received a couple over the years from my SIL and several from my mom, but usually more for my birthday than Christmas. They clearly know how to be puzzle enablers — the hubs needs some work! LOL

So for Christmas this year, I was delighted when I received three gorgeous wooden puzzles from my puzzle friend Stacey over at My Jigsaw Journal. She is so sweet for sending me these beauties, and as anyone out there who has done a wooden puzzle before knows — those babies ain’t cheap!! ??

My favorite of the bunch is this very tiny snowman puzzle. Its only about 25 pieces but it thoroughly made me smile while assembling it the day I received her package. And how cute is the tootsie roll type shape of the box! Adorable!

Look at the whimsies on this one too. So cute!

This was my very first Wentworth puzzle and I do see what all the fuss is about. They are gorgeous, beautifully crafted and cut, and just overall a fantastic feeling while assembling. I especially enjoy the little plunk sound the pieces make when you put them in the right place.

One of the puzzles, the black bagged one, has no image — it’s a review puzzle she passed on to me from Mr. Bob’s puzzles in Australia. I know where I can find the image since Stacey has already completed it, but I will try my best to work as much of it as I can blind first.

The Alice in Wonderland puzzle is cute and should be challenging given all the greenery in the scene. This was not one of my favorite Disney movies, but I do enjoy puzzles with images from the movie, and this one looks super fun. Can’t wait to do it too.

Many thanks for being my personal puzzle fairy this Christmas, Stacey! I love them all! ??
